Yeah, yeah, it’s only Thursday. But this dinner party Jennifer Daigle shot has weekend written all over it. Erika Brechtel whipped up this eclectic fête for her b-day (as an art director + stylist, sometimes you just want to work on your birthday, we get it!) so she could celebrate with her girls on a warm summer night. Having recently traveled to Marrakech, an eclectic mix of color and pattern was on her mind, and she was able to bring a little Moroccan influence to the party with Found Vintage Rentals.
Nothing says summer girls’ night like a rosé tasting. Count us in!
Found is genius with décor + furniture! Erika says, I could not have pulled it off without Jeni Maus, her team at Found Vintage Rentals, and their beautiful vintage furnishings—Moroccan wedding blankets and poufs, kantha and linen cushions, kilim and Turkish rugs, a charming little brass bar cart, and two weathered-wood coffee tables repurposed as one long dining table.
In a nutshell, I wanted to throw a party and include all of my columnists, so I asked each of them to contribute something. My birthday was the perfect excuse to get some of my girlfriends together for a unique night. Having just gotten back from Marrakech in May, I was definitely inspired by my experiences there!
Each person brought something different, from the food to wine to lip balm for the favor bags, and Flash Tattoos added to the bag too.
We wouldn’t mind extending summer just a teeny bit to throw something like this! Happy birthday, Erika! Great work.
