When Justine of Milton Photography set out to teach her wedding workshop, she knew she had to bring a talented team together to craft a whole design that they could shoot every detail of. Naturally one that brides + grooms would be inspired by too. The winter wedding scene that Birds and Honey styled ended up being perfect for couples with a winter date that still want to keep a light, soft feel to things. Those candles + calligraphy… So romantic!
Elizabeth of Blushed Beaute whipped up this romantic updo.
Isn’t Rachel Jacobson’s calligraphy divine? Justine took these photos to show her students how she would capture all the elements of a wedding with detail shots like these.
Justine says, Mona of Birds and Honey did an amazing job at making my vision shine through. While I was teaching she was behind the scenes setting everything up and it was spectacular! I couldn’t have asked for anything better or more amazing! My mom Teresa Milton creates beautiful pottery and we based the color scheme around the gorgeous plates and bowls that she made. The jewelry was from an amazing designer in Toronto, and the dress is from another Canadian designer in Vancouver! I wanted to try to source as many amazing products from Canada as possible.
Thanks to Milton Photography + the crew below for inspiring us today.
