Geometric details + color are a pretty great match. (This cake sure sets up the scene, huh?) And it just so happens so are Arizona’s Superstition Mountains + vibrant sunset-inspired colors. They all adorned a brand new venue, The Paseo outside Phoenix, in this editorial by Erica Velasco. Just wait till you see the floral and copper ceremony backdrop…
A little background from the duo at Konsider It Done: Malori, owner and renegade florist over at Hoot & Holler, helped bring these gorgeous sunsets to life with a medley of yellow, orange, and pink floral. Loads of voluptuous greenery tied the flowers together harmoniously with the surrounding desert landscape. With some choice additions of geometric shapes, we sought to juxtaposition the organic and perfectly flawed surfaces of the rocks. We have never seen such life and beauty amidst the arid Arizona desert.
More sunset inspired deets…
Surrounded by colorful floral inspiration, we understood the importance of anchoring the aesthetics with organic, natural elements. The vintage wooden table and chairs from Event Rents were exactly what our table setup needed. They provided an authentic backdrop for the bright colors and geometric shapes to shine in front of. Similarly, in the ceremony setup, Tremaine Ranch provided custom and handcrafted benches that provided a subtle and powerful presence. They were truly the missing piece of the ceremony puzzle and allowed for the scenic backdrop to do the talking.
Fab gold floral topped cake, check.
