Isn’t this Hayley Paige gown gorgeous? Sarah + Jordan totally created their own style for their wedding. They wanted it kinda rustic, but not in a barn, kinda glam, but not stuffy, a little outdoorsy but still modern, and to scream “fall” but not “harvest”—basically, just them. With Sarah being a busy attorney and Jordan a location scout, they enlisted LB Event Planning to channel those vibes, and Jen of Birds of a Feather caught all the colorful details.
Their style became moody fall with a color palette of marsala, forest green, and copper. Prim + Pixie captured it just right, we think!
The bride’s fave memories from the day…
We didn’t have a bridal party, so Jordan just walked down the aisle with his parents then I walked down with my parents. We walked down the aisle to a live performance of Queen’s Somebody to Love. When the band started playing the song and Jordan started walking down the aisle with his parents, everyone started cheering. I’ve never heard people do that before at a wedding. It gave me chills. From behind the wings, I could literally feel the good energy and love from all our friends and family, and as I stepped out of the wings and started walking down the aisle, all I could think about was how excited I was to celebrate with everyone.
Also, our band, Masta, played the most amazing (and seemingly endless) horah. It was such an out-of-body experience to have our closest friends and family encircling us and dancing like crazy. The best part was seeing everyone mixing together and united. I remember looking up and seeing people from all different parts of our lives, everyone from my aunts to Jordan’s coworkers, holding each other’s hands and surrounding us with love.
Sarah was originally set on a park wedding, but logistically it didn’t work for their 125 guests. Luckily they were able to transform the loft at The W Hollywood with greenery and string lights. She explains, I loved how unique and colorful the room was. We used a wild printed tablecloth on the round tables and mixed in kings tables with a plaid runner that was made from scarves that LB Event Planning found for us. The décor was very “us.” Jordan and I both love using lots of colors and doing things that are a little off the beaten path. When I told my mom we were using a printed tablecloth, she was a little apprehensive, but then she (and everyone else) was blown away at the result.
Sarah and Jordan pulled everything off in six months and everyone got to spend the entire weekend celebrating. Congrats you two!
