Can we just say that this wedding inspo from Vanessa + Priscilla of one six 9 and Justin Lee Images seriously set us up for a good week? The sultry florals outfitting the minimal 501 Union space, not to mention all the original ways they incorporated modern accents like geometric shapes, marble, and copper are just too good not to share.
A few notes on the venue + design: 501 Union was once a classic car restoration shop that has been transformed into a modern and chic venue located in Brooklyn, New York. We drew much of our inspiration from the distinctive elements within the venue. Flooded with natural light, the open-air courtyard had the perfect backdrop for our botanical filled ceremony. The shape of the Modo chandeliers by designer Jason Miller inspired our own geometric floral chandelier and copper archway.
Just like a couple merges their own styles, one six 9 wanted to show off the specialties of all the talents involved and share how well they all worked together. Mission accomplished!
The gorgeous and dreamy wedding gown was designed by the hands of Lesya Tanner of Laveda Bridal. The idea of “Laveda”, meaning innocent and beautiful as flowers, is reflected in the vibrant and bountiful bouquet from Ivie Joy Flowers. Mable Pang, the hair and makeup artist, gave the bride a fresh, flawless look to highlight her natural beauty. An elegant look can be achieved in a style as simple as a ponytail or as intricate as a braided bun.
Okay, we’ve seen our fair share of marble cakes. But these desserts by Sugar Suckle are *the* definition of modern and chic.
But really! Stunning.
Le sigh. Thanks for sharing guys!
