It seems simple, but never underestimate all that can come from a single source of inspiration. Take the Alexandra gown from Truvelle Bridal. Jordana of White Oak Flower Co crafted this moody tablescape and the rest of the wedding scene in Christine Lim’s photos after seeing the dress:
These florals (also by of White Oak Flower Co) just ooze romance, do they not?
A few notes on their muse… Since the gown is made of the most beautiful and delicate dove grey, I was inspired to find a way to work within the grey palette, to find richness and depth in a tone, rather than a color. The gown is also extremely romantic in style. However, instead of following deep into the romance, I wanted to find a way to find balance by drawing a more minimalist influence against the gown’s beautifully hand draped chiffon. In the end, the goal was to create something deeply romantic yet modern with a bit of an edge.
And the Blair Nadeau Millinery hairpiece is another bridal piece fit to inspire a whole design…
