Happy Wednesday, Cakies! All you California lovers are about to go bananas for this California Love wedding shoot Katie Shuler captured. Prim and Pixie came up with the rad theme (not to mention all the signage) and LB Event Planning brought it to fruition with sherbet colors and flirty details. And a pretty ocean backdrop, of course.

Hallie of LB Event Planning tells it, When our stylish graphics partner, Jen from Prim & Pixie, pitched this sherbet beach theme, we were pumped from the get go. We wanted brides to look at it and immediately scream out “RAD”… We created an Caribbean blue seamless floor which acted as the perfect backdrop for our A Rental Connection high gloss table, and then perfectly balanced sherbet tones kissed each part of the table—from the Stuff LA pillows to the vintage iced tea cups—and our DIY painted chargers were definitely a fav!
If you couldn’t tell, a soft beachy sunset was major inspo behind the shoot. Always a fave muse!
A few more details from Jen of Prim and Pixie… We wanted to create beach inspiration that was a departure from the typical neutral colors and pretty design, so we turned to 90’s rap lyrics & sherbet colors. In true 90’s rap fashion, we staked our claim as the “West Coast, Best Coast” with the “California Love” + “Today Was a Good Day” signage, but the signature cocktail “Gin & Juice” really up’ed our game.
The ceremony backdrop Jesi Haack Design whipped up is pretty spectacular too, don’t you think?
