How about a set of charming summery ice cream-filled photos by Michelle Lillywhite to get us through humpday? She captured these two over in San Diego’s cutest shop, Pigment. You’ll love the popup dessert trailer that is the models’ very own!
A few notes by Seventh Bixel… BOW (Bar On Wheels) is a 1956 Rainbow Canned Ham Trailer that Chris Blancato, of The Bearded Bowtie, converted into a caravan bar for special event rentals. With all of the non-traditional wedding cake and dessert trends popping up at special events, I wanted to showcase BOW as a mobile dessert rental and create a modern and hipster pop-up ice cream shop. The owners of BOW, Meg Blancato, and her husband Chris, were the lovely models. They are two of the most fun-loving people you’ll meet.
Our gals, former 100LC interns Aubrey + Kenzie of Details, Darling, scouted out the perfect locale and coordinated all the deets.
Gotta have those ice cream puns. Prim & Pixie transferred all the sayings onto the drinkware and created waffle cone sleeves, stir sticks, and labels. Also, we need to remake this…
Native Poppy created bright, bold floral arrangements in tropical colored vessels. After all the ice cream fun, we had the models run inside where Pigment’s round floral photo booth and an amazing ombre painted wall served as the backdrop for our popup selfie station.
They served up Hammond’s ice cream, which is made in Hawaii, and let it inspire the whole tropical design.
How fun was that?? Thanks to the San Diego creatives below for sharing!
