When you’ve locked down a barn venue like Crested Hen Farms in New York, it’s kinda impossible not to have the space be *the* biggest inspiration for the day. Once Elite Wedding & Event Planning + Hudson Valley Vintage Rentals spotted the barn, all the team wanted to do was add a little romance and elegance to their rustic surroundings. Not to mention a hint of glam! Thanks to Alicia King Photography for sharing what they dreamt up!

When we visited Crested Hen Farms earlier this season, an up and coming barn venue located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, we knew right away it would be the perfect spot to set the stage for our flirty and romantic barn styled shoot. The open fields, the historic English-Dutch dairy barn, the crested hens themselves and the creek were all idyllic settings for a throwback to a more traditional, formal, whimsical, and rustically chic wedding inspiration. The original hand hewn beams were just calling for us to drape them with chandelier pendants by Stortz Lighting and greenery.

Champagne tower, don’t mind if we do…

We adorned a rustic grey topped farm table with antique copper chargers, copper and vintage glass stemware, copper flatware, emerald green velvet napkins and hexagon marble place cards. The flirty, handmade linen and the assorted vintage white dining chairs by Hudson Valley Vintage Rentals were the ultimate magical touches! Accentuating our dinner table were pretty floral pieces designed by Sara of Lavender and Leaf Designs.
