Raise your hand if you’re a forever fan of mid-century modern! We always love seeing this theme worked into weddings, and so does Andrea of Gray Harper Event Maker and the team below. When the opportunity arose for her to style up a lovely private home brimming with mid-century modern vibes that Mackensey Alexander could capture, they obvs had to take it!
Starting to see how your home can influence your wedding design?
Hair + makeup artist Lady Katherine Taylor, was also their bride for the day, and she styled herself and the bridesmaids. She wore gowns + accessories from Ivory & Beau and the ‘maids wore Banana Republic dresses.
Andrea says, I knew that the tablescape had to be all things, modern, chic and also a little bit quirky. So we added mini pineapples and fun shapes to the floral design to incorporate that sense of fun. We also wanted to work with a color palette you don’t see often in our region (Georgia) and I think the golds, yellows, and oranges worked out perfectly and also matched the koi pond!
Have you ever seen anything like this? So rad.
Naturally the grand finale had to be an epic cake from A Squad Bake Shop… See more below!
