Morning Cakies! Today we’re interrupting best-of week juuuust for a sec. You didn’t think we’d skip right over the biggest party of the year, did you? Naturally we had to squeeze in this party Jen of One Fine Day SF (remember her holiday brunch last week?) sent our way for those of you planning a little NYE fête of sorts. Thanks to Grace Aston Photography for the photos!
One Fine Day SF + co-stylist Erika Elianté were inspired by celestial + earthy details.Jennifer says, Ringing in the new year calls for bubbly, even in cake form. BTTRCRM created a petit champagne cake, adorned with a crown of salted caramel drip and garnished with 23k gold leaf. The cake was topped with sparklers and surrounded by mini cupcakes mirroring the same flavors as well as a handful of fresh red raspberry cupcakes. Floranthropist created a collection of artisan florals that incorporated dusty blues, soft pinks, organic cotton and fig pods.
That little crescent moon planter dish? It just so happens to be the piece that inspired the whole vignette: We dialed down the glitz and embraced a little bit of nostalgia by pulling pieces from personal collections of gilded glassware, vintage flatware, and antique candleholders. The venue, Floranthropist Market, was the perfect location to house our celebration. It has an eclectic mix of charming details and statement pieces. The wall of mirrors elevated the room and added to the sparkle.
Smitten with this calligraphy by Paper In Blume!
Oh and this cute headband is an Anthro find, BTW.
Feeling ready for NYE yet? Thanks to One Fine Day SF + the team below for sharing today.
PS Check back later this morn for more inspo!
