Such a striking bridal ensemble, don’t you think? It’s actually just one of the spectacular modern looks Viva L’Event whipped up at the mid-century inspired Durham Hotel. With such a one-of-a-kind setting for the shoot, naturally they wanted to make sure the rest of the design followed suit. See what they pulled off in these images from Bohío Fine Art Photography below!
What did we tell you? Such a killer space.
Gia and Tommy spent a leisurely morning sipping champagne and getting ready in the swanky penthouse suite, where floor to ceiling windows bathe the beautifully curated period décor in natural light, and vibrant pops of color punctuate throughout. Gia slipped into a stunning nude dress by Needle and Thread from Anthropologie for the rooftop ceremony, later changing into a plunging white pantsuit for the evening cocktail hour and dancing. Tommy stuck to evening wear tradition: a skillfully tailored black suit paired with a less conventional black skinny tie.
The venue also has a rooftop bar for guests to gather.
Viva L’Event was also behind the florals and greenery surrounding this stunning cake from The Cupcake Shoppe that went right along with their color story of soft neutrals, greens, and black.Lots of talented folks contributed to this one, guys. Check ’em out below!
