Sooo when do we move in? If you saw this morning’s botanical birthday bash, you heard all about what a big deal greenery-covered walls are right now. (No wonder Pantone chose Greenery as the color of the year, right?) So when we caught sight of this Havana inspired engagement party captured by Meggie Taylor Photography, we had to gather just a few more deets…
Liz of Chancey Charm Weddings says, By pairing the fun colors of Palm Beach, with the relaxed, mid-century vibe of Palm Springs and the grit of Havana, the creative team was able to design an amazing outlet to showcase love and the blending of families. Each scene within the design was created to maximize the potential guests’ interaction with each other because in the end, that’s the main goal of an engagement party: to introduce the loved ones on both sides to each other.
Make Your Own Mojito bar, check.
Of course all those greens by Root + Bloom had to pop up throughout the space that Sugar Creek Vintage Rentals styled up. They brought in their killer vintage rentals for the occasion too.
A tip from Liz? Try a custom curated gift box like Loved & Found Box as a way to officially ask your wedding party to be part of your day.
All the elements showcased are so easy for brides to recreate at their own wedding or event. Tropical and bohemian aesthetics are very popular at the moment and can be incorporated in even the smallest details to bring big impact. These aesthetics naturally bring a warmth and vintage flair without adding too much formality. We added touches of our warm, inspiration cities in everything from the sweets from Sugar Bee Sweets, to the palm leaves in Angela’s Lilly Pulitzer dress. Take advantage of the naturally contrasting colors of foliage and the fun energy of these cities to make your event feel like a quick summer getaway.
How blown away by Sugar Bee Sweets‘s desserts are you? See more details from this shoot here:
We hear Angela + Jared are saying I Do this spring… Congrats guys!
