We’ve seen a lot of beautiful backyard weddings in our days, but it’s not super often the nuptials have any focus on the inside of the home. Know what we mean? Photog Leah Fisher and the team below were inspired to create an elopement for couples that want to return to their home state and say I Do in a place that’s already chock full of beautiful memories…
Not to mention, it was a pretty good opportunity to show off a spectacular Reformation dress.
Leah says, This elopement shoot is inspired by all the couples who come back to Maine to get married at their family’s homes that have been kept through generations. We wanted the home to be a big part of the feel, since when you get married at your home the staircase, the living room, and backyard are already teaming full of memories.
And the outdoor space? Maine sure has some breathtaking backdrops that Megan of Field Floral Studio made even better.
Even with the outdoor ceremony and portraits, they pulled their sage, nude, peach, maroon, and grey color palette from the home’s style.
What a beautiful elopement idea. Thanks to Leah Fisher for sharing!
