Scrolling through the images by Alicia Nacenta Photography, you’d never guess that Carlota + Jorge’s original ceremony venue fell through in the middle of planning, causing them to restart planning a 185-guest wedding four months away. Pretty huge hurdle, no? But you know how we love a happy ending: their celebration at Finca Las Margas in Spain turned out to be a dream.
Their tranquil countryside venue (a rehabilitated farmhouse!) accommodated friends and fam for a whole weekend of wedding festivities, and all the details were inspired by the landscape.

And her custom dress is Laura Monge Ateliler that was adorned in the same flowers by Arbolande as her updo.
A few fun surprises about the day: Carlota rode up to the ceremony venue in a friend’s vintage Jaguar; her parents surprised her with a Spanish chorus to sing her favorite songs after the ceremony; Carlota divided up her wildflower bouquet to give flowers to her friend and sister; they kicked off the reception with a flamenco band and photo booth; and lastly, the party didn’t stop until 6am!
On choosing a photographer… Alicia Nacenta’s photos were exactly what I wanted: special photos showing the key moments, and all done in a super natural way. Jorge and I do not like posing for photos so we needed a photographer who knew how to make the best photos without having to pose all the time. Alicia was able to identify the perfect places and moments, and the result was astounding. In addition to her professionalism, I have to stress how easy and pleasant she is to do things. Your wedding day is very important and it is essential to have a person at your side who besides being the best photographer, is affectionate, cares for you and tries to make that day unique.
