California brides, you’re sure to love the muse behind this styled shoot by Michelle of Magnolia & Grace Events + Austyn Elizabeth Photography. San Luis Obispo boasts views of rolling hills and miles of open land, all while being right next to the ocean, so Michelle’s goal was to encapsulate this unique locale in a romantic wedding at Biddle Ranch Vineyard. So many reasons to be inspired!
Michelle of Magnolia & Grace Events says, Feeling inspired by this town, I wanted to create something that reflected its beauty and coastal vibes, something that was both sophisticated and playful. The color palette consisted of deep burgundies and plums, accented by light apricot and blush tones, and finished off with deep greenery; soft and dreamy tones that still pack a punch.
The Queen’s Bees kept with the romantic yet playful vibe with the bride’s natural hair + makeup.
Gusto on the Go + Saude Mobile Bar brought spectacular dishes and cocktails that filled out their beautiful long tables.
And Lauren McKay’s kept the cake beautifully minimal to contrast with the full table and busier details.
I think my favorite thing about this shoot is that, while I was designing it, I could truly see a couple sitting down at this al fresco table on the coast of California, set in a gorgeous vineyard with a carefully curated cocktail in hand, falling deeply in love.
