What do you get when you’ve got a stunning location like sand dunes in Pismo Beach, a pretty dress, and a talented photog to capture it all? Engagement session success, we think. We love the simplicity Mallory Dawn captured of Raquel + Chris in their pastel-hued e-sesh, not to mention their sweet style too.
Raquel snagged this romantic maxi dress from Lulu’s.
Their story, as told by our bride-to-be, When I graduated high school I travelled to The Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas with my family and some good friends to celebrate. Chris is my friend’s cousin (who lived in Texas at the time) and whose family also joined us on our Caribbean vacation. There was instant chemistry, but after our vacation we remained long-distant friends. In summer of 2011 we reconnected in person after I graduated college and Chris returned from deployment in Afghanistan; we’ve been together ever since!
Nothing lovelier than a flowing dress and flowers in the breeze.
A bouquet of fresh blooms is always a plus for an e-sesh too, right? Penelope Pots whipped up this beauty for the occasion.
Chris and I definitely consider ourselves an outdoorsy adventure couple. We’ve trekked through Patagonia, toured waterfalls in Iceland, and got engaged in Banff National Park. So we thought, what better place to get married than Yosemite?”We are so thrilled to spend a few days hiking and enjoying quality time with our family and friends in the middle of one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
Sounds amazing. Congrats, Raquel and Chris!
