Calling all DIY brides! You’ll love all the handmade details throughout this picnic elopement shoot, which were all 100% inspired by these two and their recent wedding. From this paper backdrop to the bride’s own outfit, Gina Humilde Events and the team totally proved that with a little creativity you can dream up a super sweet, stylish elopement that’s easy on the budget, too.
Thanks to EightyFifth Street Photography for sharing the images below!
The parchment paper cone ceremony backdrop and paper streamers all made their little spot at the park feel so much more like a venue. Not to mention, so good for photos, right?
The team explains, The pallet table set for two was covered with a crochet tablecloth and accented with pink and turquoise glassware, which gave it a punch of color. The result was a simple but beautiful set up that we believe would be perfect to inspire other brides who also want an intimate celebration.
The bride’s dress is from Zara but the handmade sheer overlay with tulle flowers (hand-sewn by her mom!) and matching veil are what really makes this ensemble pop.
Can totally see how this setup could inspire a bridal shower, spring brunch, or even an engagement shoot, too.
We also included beautiful, modern calligraphy pieces for the couple’s vows and a vellum invitation suite; perfect as keepsakes. To complement the couple’s laidback persona, we created an intimate picnic at a local park in Mississauga, Ontario for them to celebrate their marriage as the sun set.
Have a feeling this sweet elopement inspiration will inspire many a celebration when spring rolls back around!
