Guys, we have to say, we’re pretty smitten with the whole idea of an elopement in Apulia, Italy these days. Sure, it would mean a mega-gorgeous backdrop for your photos, but there’s so much more to this region than that. Helping to fuel our Italy wanderlust and prove that very point, Camilla Anchisi Photography sent over these stunning images of a bohemian elopement with just a hint of fall flair:
Camilla of Camilla Cascino weddings, tells it, We wanted to describe Apulia with a different perspective. A modern take on this Italian region so loved by foreign visitors, that has its roots going deep in the local traditions. We picked the Riserva Naturale Torre Guaceto as the location for the first look and the ceremony, an enchanted place out of time, with a 15th-century watchtower, settled in the middle of a beautiful wilderness. Roberto waits for his bride Grace with an amazing bouquet by Chiara Sperti Floral Events, wrapped with elegant laces by Seidenband. Everything matches our neutral-warm tones palette: from the soil to the local wilderness.
Totally enamored with this floral hairstyle over here. Have you ever seen anything like it?! Hairstylist Sara Onori twisted it into a more laidback updo for the reception look, as you’ll see below.
Designer Silvia Valli was behind the bride’s dresses—a two-piece silk satin and chiffon skirt with an embroidered tulle bodice for the ceremony, and chiffon trousers with a French lace bodice for the reception (below).
And how stylish is their groom, Roberto? He donned a two-button jacket made from delavè linen with a revival ’50s cut as part of his three-piece suit by Linnèo Archivable Clothing.
Chiara Sperti sure knows how to whip up a bouquet straight from a fairytale.
The al fresco dinner was held in Masseria Alchimia‘s garden, a traditional Apulia building surrounded by ancient olive trees. The modern mise en place has elegant details by Rosenthal and the cutlery with copper finishing by Sambonet. For the wedding cake, we picked a delicious drip cake by Nana&Nana Cakes with meringues, macaroni and flowers as decorations.
