Cakies, have any of you had the chance to visit Montenegro? We’ve been lucky enough to share photog + designer Sonya Khegay‘s work on the blog before, so we’ve had a few glimpses at this gorgy destination. Kotor Bay is no exception, and made the perfect cliffside spot for Alexander + Olga to say I Do:
Such lovely paper pieces by Bon Salon inspired by their location.
O + A had a breakfast photo session with Sonya before the ceremony, which is such a sweet idea for those of you with a destination elopement in mind, we think.
Did we mention that photog Sonya was also behind the event + floral design for these two? That’s some serious talent!
Sonya tells it, The day started with a breakfast session. The old stone villa where they stayed had an elegant terrace in front of it. We decided that it would be a perfect place to save such cozy yet romantic moments. Olga and Alexander wanted to have their ceremony somewhere on a cliff and I found an absolutely amazing spot overlooking the Bay of Kotor. Could it be more romantic to say words of love on a place like that?
Olga’s fave moment was, of course, exchanging vows. Having been together for a long time, they didn’t realize quiet how emotional it would be to have such an intimate moment together.
Aren’t they the sweetest? Olga’s blush wedding dress was custom made by by My True Romance.
Thanks to Sonya Khegay for sharing their romantic elopement with us!
