Jaime of Blushing Blooms Event Florist says, Salubria is a Georgian Estate just miles from Culpeper, Virginia. It was built from a love story between Reverend Thompson and his wife, Lady Thompson, and has been a gracious host to love stories since. Its romantic lines and high ceilings were highlighted by the wild greenery + monochromatic florals chosen. Heirloom pieces passed on from my grandmother were the perfect fit to adorn the table and my own nod to my family’s love stories.

One last note from Jamie: The couples who choose this time of year tend to be old souls. This magical day was right after time fell back, it seemed to have stopped. Stopped to let us appreciate every wisp of newly chilled wind and the long-lost details we long for in bridal portraits. Nothing trendsetting here, purposely, just a nod to this magical time of year when things slow down and we can appreciate our past and present.
