Still, sometimes we’ll see a neutral wedding or event like the one Lacy Geary and Kelly Lenard dreamt up in this feminine editorial at Foxfire Mountain House in the Catskills, and suddenly whites and creams and pale pinks are all we can think about. A talented team of vendors gathered for Jake Anderson’s workshop and this Catskills wedding came to life. In the frozen north of New York at the thoughtfully designed Foxfire Mountain House, an intimate weekend unfolded. The fireplace roared next to the table where flowers delicately arched and leaves foraged brought the outside in. A crisp balance of white, cream, rose and gold was at once a reminder of the brisk outdoors and an inviting embrace to stay cozy inside. It was everything you could want in an intimate winter wedding, the perfect setting for a hidden getaway from the city and a memorable place to return to.
Gah, seeing a bohemian Dreamers & Lovers gown in this romantic, feminine setting is just too perfect. Not to mention, a sparkler by Susie Saltzman like the one below:

There was the kind of light you see on a wedding day—warm and joyful and basically a hug that doesn’t let go. It wrapped you up in the food, the flowers and the feeling of the day, and it didn’t even matter that the temperature was more than just cold. Spread through the house was a celebration for an intimate wedding, a select group of people traveling up from New York City with close friends from Minneapolis, Alberta, Lake Placid and more.
There’s something so magical about escaping a bustling city like NYC for an intimate wedding upstate, too. Practically begs for a dreamy scene like this.
