Georgia Cakies, have you attended any weddings at Cherry Hollow Farm? From the looks of these photos by Nicole Mason, this venue quite srsly has it all. It’s got this really rad mix of industrial architecture set right on a farm setting outside of Atlanta. Which is totally perfect for a couple like Paul + Yujin, who were inspired by an engagement trip to Joshua Tree and wanted a space they could adorn with a little California style. Not to mention, these two have impeccable style, which really pops against the moody modern style of the space.
From Brie of Chancey Charm Atlanta: Paul + Yujin met while at a concert with friends and once they started talking, they never stopped! Timing his sweet proposal perfectly, Paul made sure to pop the question when Yujin’s dad was in town visiting from Korea. What followed was a beautiful and romantic engagement shoot in Joshua Tree, California—which was the main inspiration behind their modern desert-chic affair. With a color palette of cacti green, washed-out peach, and dusty rose, Gold & Bloom created some stunning bouquets and arrangements featuring wild, organic blooms like Juliet garden roses and quicksand roses that paired perfectly with the desert vibe.
Y’s incredible off-shoulder silk bridal gown was completely custom from Baltimore Bridal Suite and she literally hunted down those two-toned Chanel pearl mules, finally scooping them up at Bergdorf Goodman in New York.
Their fave moment? This one right here…
Groom: First look. I went into it with a certain level of expectation and specifically thought to myself, I will NOT cry because what’s the big deal? Then I saw her and my heart dropped.
Bride: I think the first look was my favorite part too! It happened so fast and I didn’t know what to expect, but it was a moment that I’d imagined in my head over and over again.
And this stunner of a spring bouquet was made up of Juliet garden roses, quicksand roses, eucalyptus, white berries, jasmine, and pieris.
A few DIY projects included signs, toss petals, candle + jar designs, and favor bags… which were super fun because they all included *selfie ring lights* for guests. Yep, too good!
In keeping with their California vibes, bridesmaids rocked blush and peach Cloud Hunter silk dresses.
Aren’t those big, airy cape sleeves so so chic for a wedding dress? Obsessed. And she even did her own makeup!
They played Young Blood by The Naked and Famous for the ceremony. Paul had actually shared a list of his future wedding songs with Yujin the day they met (bold, no?!), and of course, this one was on it. Had to be it!
Um, sounds like our kinda party! Aren’t all the little cactus motifs throughout so cute, too?
Yujin says, Planning was more difficult than expected as we were doing long distance, and we did most of the planning ourselves. Brie, our wedding coordinator and stylist, really was a big help especially the last few weeks before the wedding. She tied all the loose ends together and was a superstar! We couldn’t have done it without her. She has such an easygoing personality, and we became friends in the process as well. She is the best!
