Remember earlier this year when we shared a recap of The Big Fake Wedding in Atlanta? Well, as you may know, each Big Fake Wedding event is completely different and uniquely curated. For their Dallas event last month, it was all about creating a warm, cozy atmosphere at the Hidden Pines Chapel… Which is pretty perfect considering how many of our couples want to channel that intimate, romantic atmosphere no matter the size of their wedding. Not to mention, you all know our love of neutrals, right? The warm tones, wood textures, and greenery throughout is riiiight up our alleys! Kay, these modern woodsy invites by Paper Affair Dallas? GORGEOUS and so creative. Each event has several talented industry pros in each category, such as photography, stationery, event design and more (find the full list at the bottom of this post) so “guests” AKA brides- and grooms-to-be can be inspired by lots of different takes on the event’s theme.
We love how this year’s vendors chose to create a warm + cozy wedding theme that, while totally fitting for those of you planning a winter wedding, doesn’t feel overly seasonal. So no matter which local Big Fake Wedding you attend (25 cities and counting!) and which theme they tackle, you’re sure to be inspired.
If you’re not sure what The Big Fake Wedding is all about, it’s simple: The Big Fake Wedding is a bridal show alternative in the form of (no surprise here!) a big, fake wedding. It’s really the only place those of you planning can go and see tons of vendors in action, as they pull off an emotional ceremony, over-the-top reception, and yep, even a dance party!
