After yesterday’s fall desert editorial and these Frida Kahlo wedding ideas, we’re seriously digging all the ways brides and grooms can incorporate a bold red color palette into their big days. In this nomadic bohemian wedding shoot Alexandra Wallace and Sandcastle Celebrations sent our way, an old gypsy wagon discovered in the township of Old Edna became the basis for a vibrant, floral-filled celebration.
…Starting with these stunning blooms by Eden Floral. Swoon!
The project began with a beautiful array of local greenery to complement the gypsy wagon. Eden Floral foraged local and home-grown blooms for several days to fill the wagon. Showcasing the local foliage that grows wild on the central coast, Racheal filled baskets with unique blooms. She is known for her extraordinary, organic bridal bouquets. Pairing conventionally grown and foraged greenery and flowers created fresh, bountiful bouquets. The bridal bouquet included pincushion protea, home grown daffodils, African wild flowers, garden grown sweet peas, fava bean blossoms, and tulips. The gorgeous bridal bouquet was tied with hand dye silk ribbons from silk and willow.
The Wild Harlow gown by Rue de Seine from Moondance bridal boutique complemented the design. It’s a timeless wrap dress with a semi-fitted bodice and dramatic bell sleeves.
Avenue Twelve, a boutique rental company that specializes in furniture from around the world, showcased their amazing antique rug collection. The antique rugs, coupled with Moroccan leather poufs and soft pillows, created a cozy nook under the arching branches of the giant pepper tree. These complimentary elements created a warm and inviting lounge. Our coffee table was adorned with ready to eat fresh fruits, nuts, cheeses, and olives. Our table setting included copper silverware, a crystal goblet, and an intricate designed plate that echoed the patterns of the rugs and poufs. Edible flowers created a miniature floral mandala covered our adorable mini cake.
Gorgeous venue and flowers, boho vibes, and an amazing spread? It’s all thanks to the talents below!
