Happy Thursday, all! If you’ve fallen in love with peach hues this spring like we have, you’ll be extra inspired by how Blush and Bowties and floral designer White Oak helped Sarah + Steve incorporate this romantic wedding color into their winter wedding. With a guest list of just thirty at The Great Hall in Toronto, their intimate celebration felt warm and cozy, but light and modern all at once. Thanks to LV Imagery for sharing the photos!
Sarah explains, We wanted our small wedding to feel warm, organic, classic, cozy, intimate, romantic with a touch of vintage. The colour scheme really was a mix of rose gold, blush, cream and dusty pink. Our wedding planner Alex of Blush and Bowties sat down with us early in the planning process and helped bring the vision together. She asked us questions about our styles and preferences, she showed us pictures and created a vision board for us, she was instrumental in helping us find the balance between my more traditional taste and Steve’s more modern, minimalist taste.
These peach tones… Love!
Sarah walked down the aisle to Traumerei by Robert Schumann, and Steve’s brother married them surrounded by their 30 guests.
When we found The Great Hall we were immediately drawn to it, the simplicity and elegance of the architecture were unmatched by any other place we saw. Because we had to rent everything to bring into the space, it allowed us the opportunity to personalize the wedding to our taste, we liked that about this venue.
Sweetest winter looks, don’t you think?

We planned our wedding in about five months; it was only possible to do with the help of all the professionals we hired. We were determined to trust their expertise and we were not disappointed. If you surround yourself with good people and trust them to do what they are good at, you can relax and know your wedding will be beautiful. Our wedding planner was the best money we spent, she helped us stay on budget, prioritize the most important things, connected us with vendors that were helpful, kind and professional. Another benefit was we were relaxed so our family was relaxed, if you stay calm then the people around you feel reassured.
Solid advice. Congrats, Sarah + Steve!
