So, word on the street is that the venue we’re about to show you, Chateau De Varennes in France, is a top ten wedding venue worldwide (according to CNN, anyway!). But how to design a wedding that would do something as spectacular as a world-famous chateau justice?! To show us, Denise Marie Photography captured the space in all its luxe, French glory, complete with a romantic, early Renaissance wedding designed by Shannon Leahy Event Design & Planning. Prepare to fall in love!

Hi, dream venue!

This rusty shade of orange is so perfect for celebrating late summer, we think. The color palette throughout was sage, rust, auburn, goldenrod, and dusty lavender.

Moon Canyon Design was behind the drop dead gorgeous florals adorning the interior of the venue.

And the overall mood and inspiration was the renaissance of the 14^th—16^th centuries. Renaissance means ‘awakening’ or ‘rebirth’ so they designed it with this concept in mind.

The shoot was held at the 18th century luxury Chateau De Varennes, in the heart of the Burgundy wine country! Named by CNN among the top ten best wedding venues worldwide and being the only French venue to be selected as such, Chateau de Varennes is a luxury estate located in the southeastern part of France amidst the finest vineyards of Beaune in Burgundy.
