If you think there’s no natural way for modern AND fairytale styles to mingle in a wedding, these photos by Holly Clark are sure to change your mind. This contemporary take on an English wedding, complete with an idyllic countryside location and ultra romantic gowns is the brainchild of Liz Linkleter Events, the talents behind two of our very faves: this elegant floral wedding and a unique Rajasthani-inspired London wedding. So, if anyone can pull off modernizing such a classic concept, it’s gotta be Liz and her crew.
Pale Press London calligraphed the swoon-worthy invitation suite and paper goods.
This is a shoot that brings in classic English elegance and romance in a fairytale setting, with a contemporary and stylish twist. Our bride and groom married in the magical lost wonderland of Valentina’s Lost Orangery, surrounded by lush gardens, crumbling old buildings and stunning florals. Although the setting is quintessential English countryside, we worked in a contemporary fashion-inspired colour palette, inspired by the bright orange walls of the Orangery itself—warm ochres, nudes, oranges and cappuccino tones, alongside a flash of mint and palest pink.
What did we tell you? Still Life Flowers created some srsly incredible arrangements.

The editorial actually featured a few high-fashion gown designers, J’Aton Couture, Valentini, & Hermione de Paula, that elevated the countryside ambience.

This is a contemporary and stylish high fashion bridal shoot, with classic English elegance running throughout, all in a stunning fairytale setting. After an intimate wedding ceremony our couple had a romantic dinner in the Orangery, before a stroll through the gardens and a boat ride on the lake as the sun set.
