(You remember how stunning the last collection we shared was, yes?) This Spring 2019 collection was Hushed Commotion’s first shoot abroad. Their all-women team embraced the historic streets and spaces of Jaffa to show off the new jewels.
The collection features necklaces, earrings, hairpieces, and accessories with a playful spin.
The Mallory clips are so dainty and fun.
Thea tells us, We did our first ceramics collaboration and couldn’t be more excited for the debut! Last year, I met Kristin at an art fair in Brooklyn I immediately fell in love with her work. It has been so fun and rewarding working with her on these pieces. We were able to still hold true to our love of gold (check out that 18k gold splatter!), while experimenting with a new material and shape. All pieces are hand crafted in Kristin’s studio in DC (although she is making the move to NY later this year!) and then shipped to us in Brooklyn where we assemble the designs!
This season at Hushed Commotion, it’s all about mixing sweet and sassy. Touches of pearl, mixed with white leather, florals and geometric shapes. I wanted this season to be a celebration of feeling fierce in your accessories, while also feeling fun and playful.
