Mondays in April… They should pretty much all begin with some dramatic florals and bright colors, dontcha think? KC of Cloud Creative Events and the team below dreamt up this moody shoot to bring bold color to the whitewash walls of The Ostreum in Fort Worth, TX, creating a dark spring vignette for all you lovers of statement-making jewel tones. Thanks to Kate Pease Photography for capturing the details below!
From Venus & Co… We hung lavender delphinium to fill the space and made sure it was light and airy. We also used champagne sprayed asparagus fern to line the top of the grid and to fill in to create the illusion of fullness. The windows created a beautiful glow for a cohesive waterfall/cascading look. It was stunning and versatile and could be created in several different locations with many different colors and flowers.
Jewel tones for spring, yes please!
Are all our spring brides pinning this bridal bouquet right about now?!
Fresh fruit was another common thread tying the design together…
KC says, For this shoot, I wanted to use dark and moody color to pop against the white brick walls of the venue. We used an asymmetrical hanging floral installation for the alter area. The asymmetrical design created dimension and interest, while the champagne ferns mixed with purple stock created a unique, ethereal look.
Ashley McNabb was behind the bride’s glamorous beauty, while Wed Bridal Boutique outfitted her in a romantic gown.See more from this luxe wedding inspiration in our gallery!
Bold hues like purples and reds can be so tough to pull off in a modern, dreamy way. Kudos to KC + the crew below for making it happen. So gorg!
