The invitation suite by The Brightline Studio was so unique, featuring torn paper and leather covers adorned in white calligraphy.

Cerf Club is a warm, eclectic space that’s a perfect backdrop for any special occasion: from an engagement party to a rehearsal dinner, and even your wedding reception; they’ve designed a space that is malleable yet retains character. The venue features wall treatments with tones subtly representing the four seasons and painted by the renowned visual artist Victor Reyes, as well as custom accent woodwork from Nolan Restivo of Portland-based Juncture Woodworks.
The space comes ready to serve 60 guests for a seated dinner, or 100 for a standing reception.
The venue is walking distance to the iconic San Francisco City Hall, one of our fave elopement spots in the city. Bari of Bari Elexa Events also recommends Lands End, the Presidio Chapel, the Shakespeare Garden in Golden Gate National Park, and the Palace of Fine Arts for those of you planning an intimate ceremony before your restaurant reception.
On the design… Inspired by the minimalist aesthetic of Cerf Club, Bari with Bari Elexa Events designed a setting that embodied the simplistic elegance of romance, while also combining modern and minimal elements. Texture flowed all throughout this design with swatches of leather, handmade torn paper, and dried flowers. These organic touches tied into the beautifully painted walls within Cerf Club, that featured a powder blue brush stroke throughout the entire venue.
Within this styled design, we brought the outside indoors, and the Ash & Oak Floral team incorporated many natural elements within all of their designs. The ceremony setting featured a floating installation encapsulated with flowers and branches while the dining table had a a long flowing stream of flowers
Their bride’s first look from Loho Bride featured a classic Rime Arodaky gown, with this second look being a chic Lein Studio jumpsuit.
Still can’t get over all these paper goodies throughout! All of the black, leather, and wood accents gave their soft, romantic design a more modern, sophisticated San Francisco feel without losing its minimalist approach.
