We know how many of you come to 100LC for bridesmaids dress inspiration, so why not go straight to the source? Our bride Gaby, the accessories buyer at Show Me Your Mumu, said I Do at her guy Josh’s family home in Australia where they both grew up, though they’ve since embraced the California lifestyle. The home ended up being the perfect spot for a neutral and white palette with its lush settings and black accents. Keep reading for all the highlights Sazzi Events helped them bring to life, as captured by Brooke of One, But Many.
Gaby says, We got married at Josh’s family home. We knew this was where we wanted to get married before we were even engaged! Because we met when we were so young, we spent a lot of time at his family home and had so many special memories there. We also wanted to be able to dance the night away into the early hours so we didn’t want the time restraints of a venue!
Dying over this blush Pallas Couture gown from Kinsley James Couture Bridal. Total stunner!
So cute! The property was able to accommodate their 175 guests.
Aurora Floral Studio nailed it with the all-white blooms. When I chose my blush wedding dress, I knew I wanted my girls in white. I loved how ethereal they looked and it was such a pretty contrast against my dress. My husband chose the groomsmen suits and I absolutely love what he picked! The light linen fabrication of the suit was perfect for our venue and looked amazing with the soft color palette of the bridesmaid dresses.
Their style… So good!
My mother-in-law (Josh’s mum) was the creative director for our pre-dinner and after party space. She’s so creative and we really just let her take the lead on decorations including furniture hire, decor and props. We put a lot of emphasis on creating intimate and cozy areas for our guests to lounge and socialize. This was really important to us to bring our guests and loved ones together.
We already had a strong vision of what we wanted but we definitely leaned on 100 Layer Cake for inspiration. So many of their articles and featured weddings helped bring our vision to life. Floral and decor goals!

Advice from our bride… It’s important to start with a really clear idea of how much you want to spend overall and then go from there. Don’t decide when you’re already in the process! When we started getting quotes back from our vendors and getting an understanding of how much everything was going to cost, Josh and I sat down and decided what was REALLY important to us and what we were happy to go without. We were lucky that we agreed on what we wanted to focus our budget on and what we didn’t care as much about. Wedding planning can be really overwhelming so it’s super important to have a really clear idea of what your vision is and stick to your budget!
Congratulations, Gaby + Josh!
