Like many 2020 couples, Hoang-Mai and Richard had to cancel their original wedding plans and completely redirect last fall. But you wouldn’t know it from these images by Anais Possamai Photography, taken at the Brooklyn brownstone that served as the backdrop for their DIY backyard wedding. And the sweetest thing? All the guests helped set up and decorate for the ceremony!
Luckily, Brooklyn *always* makes for a beautiful wedding backdrop!
Our bride arranged this pretty pink and coral bouquet herself!
The Brooklyn brownstone they chose is actually an airbnb they were able to use as their backup venue.
Love that even though they had to cut down on so many of their original plans, they squeezed in a few personal details like favors for their close friends and fam.
Even though their day didn’t go as originally planned they made the most of it and poured their heart into it. Hoang-Mai made her own wedding bouquet, created beautiful signage for the details of her day, and gave each guest a personalized gift to go home with after the party. Their wedding day felt like a family dinner filled with love and laughter. They hired a private chef to cook for them and serve them while their friends would share stories and memories with them.
What a beautiful sparkler send off!
Congrats to the happy couple!
