Nothin’ cuter than a rainbow My Little Pony party for Penny’s 3rd! The birthday girl got to see her home transformed into the magical world of Ponyville, complete with all the pink, purple, gold, sweet treats and balloons a kid could ask for! See below for all the outrageously FUN party ideas, designed by mama Kristen Dimond and captured by Alison Bernier!
Mama Kristen said:
For the last year or so, the “mane” six from Ponyville have taken center stage in our house. I knew I wanted to take on My Little Pony for my daughter Penny’s 3rd birthday, because of all my girls, she loves the ponies most of all. When designing the party, I wanted Penny to feel like she stepped into Ponyville herself, and so used bright and colorful girly details like rainbows, hearts, stars, clouds, and large cutouts of the ponies themselves. Inside our house, I created a giant rainbow installation that covered my wall, featuring all the ponies, hundreds of rainbow hearts and cloud balloons from The Pop Shop.
Continuing the vibe outside, she incorporated rainbow fringe on their patio and tree, and enlisted Poppy Jack Shop to craft colorful pony placemats. To transport their guests to Equestria, they set up a “Twilight Sparkle” yourself station, complete with hair glitter, colorful pony tail extensions, and cutie mark tattoos, and offered pony-shaped cotton candy as well as pony rides on a real “unicorn” around the backyard! I mean, HOW FUN!
We can’t imagine how excited little Penny was to see this entire birthday dream come true! Happy birthday!!
