A stylist with an eye for fashion, colors, and tones, glamorous bride Lauren had a vision for her wedding from the start: coastal views, delicious cocktails, romantic candlelight, and an overall Italian-coast-meets-California-sunset vibe. It all came together when Lauren + Griffin were dining at a family home in Rolling Hills Estates—the property fit their dream entirely. They connected with Robin and Kathleen of RMBO Collective, along with Griffin’s talented sister Ali Vaughan of Style Lab, to transform the space. From there, a romantic and stylish California wedding emerged, with stunning details strung together by guests mingling in their most glamorous garb. Soak it all up as you browse Jana Williams’ photos, below!
The Bridal Fashion
Both Lauren’s ceremony bridal ensemble and reception look (a flirty mini dress you’ll see below) were completely custom designed herself. Equal parts romantic and glam, the dress featured intricate pearl beadwork sprinkled from bell sleeve to bodice to floor, with the exception of a dramatic slit to show a little leg and her platform heels. For the ceremony, she accessorized with her own Excess Granted diamond studs and tennis bracelets and topped it all off with a custom pearl and crytsal veil, her something borrowed.
From the team: Upon arrival guests enjoyed a pre-ceremony spritzer and enjoyed the expansive ocean views. Wooden benches formed what seemed like a natural amphitheater that led down to the ceremony alter with neutral colored rugs and an incredible ground floral installation with lush greenery combined with fluffy florals in muted sunset tones created by Nu Leaf Design. Guests were taken on a journey throughout each phase of the celebration!
Every. Single. Guest. understood the assignment…
They walked down the aisle to Rufus Du Sol, Next To You and Brighter. The ceremony was a spiritual journey including a reading from The Alchemist along with Griffin and Lauren’s personal vows.
Simply can’t get over the beadwork on this dress!

During cocktail hour, impeccably dressed guests sipped handcrafted signature cocktails that matched the colorful sunset hues.
Italy-meets-California
For dinner, guests took their seats at long candlelit Tuscan-style tables perched on a cantilevered deck, complete with the incredible SoCal ocean view. Subdued pinks and orange floral arrangements lined the tables, reflecting how the sky lit up as sunset approached. Whoa Nelly Catering delighted guests with an Italian-inspired farm-to-table meal.
And what better than a traditional Italian wedding cake for their dessert? Another 100LC couple, Kristina and Marcel, made a similar choice during their Italy-inspired nuptials in Florida.
As the night fell, the rock amphitheater lit up with candles and colorful lighting and disco balls hung from the trees, which set the vibe for the perfect dance party. The couple was welcomed by a sparkler entrance onto the dance floor for their first dance to “Beyond” by Leon Bridges. Guests enjoyed a spring berry Mille-Feuille Italian wedding cake and a custom gelato cart. The dance party continued late into the night with a silent disco as two Honey DJs spun hip hop and house music. The love and warmth of this event filled the air the entire evening, and the colorful vibe of the wedding made a lasting impression on each and every guest.
