If you weren’t quite sold on polka dots as a top bridal trend of 2023, then this London wedding editorial is sure to tip the scales. With historic venue Morden Hall as their backdrop, Jessica of Style It! Events combined pink, red, and black design details with trend-setting fashion to achieve a look of modern romance with a touch of edge. About the bridal look: ANELA by Alyce Jane Bridal is for the modern, fashion-forward bride. Featuring a sheer polka dot/flock tulle dress with leg of mutton sleeves, hand stitched organza floral 3D lace applique at the wrists and a short luxury satin slip dress under the tulle, Anela manages to achieve the perfect balance of luxury with an edge. For something more conservative, or for the cooler months, the slip is also available in a longer length. The dress was paired with a pearl headpiece and jewelry by The Lucky Six Pence as well as a star-embellished veil by Rebecca Anne Designs.
Their groom donned an all-black outfit from London’s Moss Bros Groom.
Love us a floral wedding cake around here!
When thinking about the concept behind this editorial, we thought we had to play differently, using patterns, colours and elements that are not common in a wedding design. The idea was bringing life and elevate the styling while taking it to the next level by introducing personal elements for a unique and unconventional result. In that way red becomes key as symbol of passion, fierce and intentional rebellion and patterns like spots and star melt together in a playful and stylish effect.
Flowers4Worthing incorporated blush and white into their bold reds and black arrangements to soften the look and up the elegance.
