If you love Greek culture and history, garden parties, and a bit of magic, this castle wedding editorial at Pyrgos Vasilissis—which translates to the Queen’s castle—in Athens is your European dream. Complete with a floral wedding gown and the cutest vintage getaway car, not to mention the fairytale chateau backdrop, Ioanna Karatza Events and the team behind YOU the Workshop offer up some seriously romantic ideas for I Do, all featured in George Liopetas’ ethereal photos to follow:
Their bride wore these butterfly embroidered shoes by Bella Belle for a bit of fairytale magic.
Dimitra Antonea, owner and designer of Made Bride outfitted the bride in her whimsical embroidered wedding dress featuring mutlicolored lace, a deep V neckline, and floral appliqué and dotted tulle. A dream, for sure!
For the most enchanting ceremony in front of the chateau, floral artist Jim Labraco constructed a large crescent moon shaped arch with blush roses and blue hydrangea. Keep scrolling to see how he adorned their vintage car to match!
Is it a European wedding without a vintage car for coastal drives?!
On to the reception decor and tabletop… Isn’t this setup stunning? Definitely a good argument for a garden wedding, right here.
