If you caught part 1—the Tuscan-themed rehearsal dinner and welcome party in California we shared yesterday—you’re probably eager to see what Devon + Connor did for the big day, we know we were! While their welcome festivities followed a more subdued, organic feel as inspired by the Italian countryside, D+C designed a beautiful wedding day with big splashes of color, pattern, and personalization. Guide member, planner Jess of Onyx and Redwood, took their vision and ran with it. And the result? Magic in every single moment. Thanks to Guide member Ali Beck for sharing these images with us, and again if you missed it, find our couple’s rehearsal dinner right here.

Getting Ready & Colorful Bridal Party Fashion
Devon is a costumer, so naturally fashion was a big part of the day. She embroidered individual hankies with the message “For happy tears, xo Devon,” for her bridal party. She also custom made them robes using her granny’s old quilts, which they all wore along with gingham pajama sets on the morning-of. The quilted robes were so cute, the gals even wore them when the weather got chilly later on the wedding day. And, fun fact: Connor is a producer, and the two met while working on The Bachelor. Guess they are cupid for more than just on-screen romances!

These robes!!! How very fun and thoughtful!

First Look
The whole wedding weekend took place in Santa Ynez wine country, with the bridal party getting ready at a local Airbnb near the venue, The Centeniella House in Los Alamos. Devon wore a custom CINQ dress and her bridesmaids all chose colorful dresses they loved. They chose to do a first look at the house to calm their nerves before the ceremony, with their moms, bridesmaids, and dog Logan watching from afar.

Love these colorful bridesmaids! Devon gave them a moodboard and told them to wear something they’d feel themselves in. And the moms understood the assignment, too!

Wedding Ceremony & Cocktail Hour
The ceremony took place at Bodega Los Alamos, a natural wine bar and intimate event space with a 1920s farmhouse on site. Connor and Devon love to explore new wine bars, particularly on the Central California Coast, so this (along with their rehearsal dinner location) helped them share that love with family and friends.
They both walked down the aisle with their parents, and the bride walked down to “Patience” by The Lumineers.
Cocktail hour was catered by Slate Catering featuring a big grazing station of veggies and snacks.

Motel Chic Reception at Skyview Los Alamos
For their reception, the couple loved the laidback feel of Skyview Motel, and that their closest friends could all stay in the same place for the weekend. About their style, the bride says, Authentic, warm, unique, cozy, and happy. I wanted it to feel like a combination of Connor and my favorite wine bars, restaurants, our favorite night-in at home with records playing, candles lit, dinner cooking, and chilled wine in the fridge.
Planning was wonderful and I enjoyed every step of it. As somebody who works in a creative world, this was an opportunity for me to be so creative. Jess and I had lots of fun putting so much detail into the weekend, every corner has a pop of personal detail that told an overarching story of who Connor and I are as a couple.

Vibrant, Beautiful Wedding Details
The reception was originally planned to run down the center of the retro motel, but they pivoted to a tent due to rain, which actually looked perfect with the table settings and bar decor featuring pattern on pattern, spring peony floral arrangements, acrylic table numbers
Jess of says, Onyx and Redwood says, The design combined bold patterns, layered textures, and modern-meets-vintage details, featuring stunning linens and napkins from Something Vintage, lush florals by Perry Florals, and an effortlessly chic rental mix from Party Pleasers, Table Method, and Theoni Collection.
They also had a little spot near the dance floor reserved for the grandmas and nanas!

The bride, her mother, and nana, assembled mini tambourines for guests at the reception.

Jess explains, The bride, who works in the Hollywood costume department, hand-picked the band’s costumes and custom-embroidered several of their jackets, giving them a stylish, one-of-a-kind look.
The bar setup greeted guests at the entrance of the reception tent, right across from a live tattoo artist, setting the tone for an unforgettable night. Featuring custom acrylic signage and a bespoke toile illustration of the bride and groom, created by Velvet Fox Designs and applied in a custom vinyl wrap, the bar was a seamless blend of thoughtful design and personal touches.
With groovy vintage glassware from Table Method and Party Pleasers, lush florals by Perry Florals, and signature cocktails crafted by the talented Skyview Motel bartenders, this bar was the perfect spot to kick off the celebration in style!

The Afterparty
For the afterparty, guests were led to Norman, the restaurant and bar at the Skyview Los Alamos Motel, for an epic late-night hang inspired by Grateful Dead, the groom’s favorite. Details included:
- Grateful Dead-Inspired After-Party: A nod to Connor’s love for the Dead, we went all in with psychedelic decor, lava lamps, and trippy lighting.
- In-N-Out Catering for the After-Party: Because what’s better than burgers and fries at 1 AM after hours of dancing?
- Super Moon DJs Brought the Vibes: The dance floor stayed packed until the early morning.
- Live Wedding Tattoos Until 2 AM: Guests got inked to commemorate the night in the best way possible.
