Been a minute since we had a special focus on the groom, hasn’t it? Not the bride and groom, or the wedding party and groom—just the Mr. This groom’s styling shoot that Alexandra Elise Photography was behind was all about focusing on the details, from the accessories to the hair… Take a look!
Alexandra of Alexandra Elise Photography says, Men are often overlooked in the styled shoot arena. But why? There is just as much detail in the fabric of their suit, dress shirt selection, stitching, coordinating tie and pocket square, and more. Just like the bride, a groom’s wedding day attire thoughtfully represents their personality.
They kept the style clean and classic so that the details in the accessories could stand out.
Though of course, there was bourbon…
In order to complete their mission of offering up some much needed groom’s fashion inspiration, Matthew, owner of PRIMP Salon in Corning, NY styled two different hairdos for their two grooms… A quick trip from Matthew: I used Oribe’s Rough Luxury soft to add texture, a satin finish and a strong, yet touchable hold. Applying it evenly to dry hair will make your style stand up well into the night.
Grooms, are you taking notes? Thanks to Alexandra + Matthew for inspiring our grooms today!
