It’s always good to snag wedding creatives that can turn you onto other talented industry folks—makes finding the perfect vendors a breeze. A Charming Fête, Molly Taylor + Co., and photog Lauren Gabrielle work together often, so Quinn + Pete knew they’d be the dream team when it came to bringing their vision to life—a bright, fall wedding heavy on the personal deets:
The ceremony took place on a perched terrace overlooking the natural landscape, and this floating chandelier covered in flowers and vines hung above them.
From the team at A Charming Fête: We worked very closely with the bride’s mom Anne throughout the entire process as the couple was living in Brooklyn while planning their wedding in Cleveland. We selected the perfect indoor/outdoor venue and worked with Anne to design a vibrant, jewel toned wedding filled with love and tons of meaningful details. We accented the plum, cranberry and pink tones with rich cobalt/royal blue and vintage brass components. We wanted to maintain a refined and elegant look but still keep it colorful and slightly bohemian in style staying true to Pete and Quinn’s free spirit personalities.
On a few of the DIYs, Quinn says, My mom made a velvet table topper in our wedding colors, and she and friends adorned it with all kinds of handmade, velvet flowers. We purchased wax seals with our initials, and we used these to accent our seating cards as well as our table menus. For the bride and groom chairs, we covered hearts with moss and embellished them with handmade, silk flowers in our colors. Keeping in theme, we used larger versions of these flowers on the back of the bridesmaid dresses to add a little color and make each one a bit different.
Planning from NY, they managed to travel to Cleveland for a few big 3-day weekends where they packed in all the meetings, engagement photos, tastings, shopping, and even hearing their band. The crazy weekends with A Charming Fête ended up being some of their fave memories. All the best to Pete + Quinn!
