Crate & Barrel registry plus event | Wedding registry

Hi, friends! Do we have your attention with this beauty of a wedding cake from the Crate & Barrel registry plus event in Seattle? You’ve heard all about our partnership with Crate & Barrel (scroll on through our archives to see all the shoots we’ve done) so it’s extra nice to see what our friends are up to in other cities around the US. Seattle was one of 5 cities recently to put on a deluxe version of their private registry event, and we loved all the deets from Blue Rose Photography captured:

Naturally they had some bridal gowns a la The Dress Theory on lock.

Tamera of Simply by Tamara Nicole says, Our overall inspiration was of course C&B’s modern style, coupled with elements from the Pacific Northwest. Wood, grey (grey skies?), COFFEE, nature, and seafood. We also wanted to soften the metals, wood, and earthy elements with soft blush, white and ivory. There were some fun interactive pieces for the guests in addition to the raffles and registration. From painting French macarons, to making a floral crown, photo booth, spinning a wheel for prizes, a lip and lash bar, custom calligraphed journals, etc.

Tamara designed the tablescape to feature Crate and Barrel’s black wood chargers, b+w plates, and striped napkins with copper utensils that went with Letters by Ellen’s calligraphy. Botanique dreamt up this unique take on a table runner with flatlay roses held in CB’s trays.

As they arrived each guest was serenaded by the crazy talented Side One band, and greeted with the best coffee from Slate Coffee. Ravishing Radish tray passed some truly PNW style brunch appetizers. Guests were treated to Chicken and Waffle Canapes, Washington Apple Cheese Crostini, Deviled Eggs with Smoked Salmon and Dill, Dungeness Crab Cakes, as well as two signature mocktails.
