One of our very fave things to see in weddings is simplicity done in a beautifully modern way—when minimal, thoughtful details come together to give off an air of understated elegance that feels timeless, yet inspired. Liz + Hayden’s fall wedding at Luce Loft encapsulates this concept perfectly for us, with the industrial San Diego venue being such a blank slate for To La Lune to adorn in their modern, relaxed style. Plenty of Petals incorporated florals that had a hint of purple and complemented the venue + time of year.
Christy of To La Lune explains, For Liz and Hayden’s fall wedding it was all about keeping things classic while bringing to light a modern twist. Playing with organic influences, we had greenery sprouting up throughout the space, as if growing straight from the cracks in the concrete floors and textured walls at Luce Loft. The overall design was kept simplistic, yet elegant, with an emphasis on neutral shades complimented by hints of soft plum and slate blues. Lanterns glowed in the foreground adding to the warmth and love that was felt in the air.
Liz + Hayden kept it simple without a wedding party, and walked down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon in D with 65 guests gathered for the occasion. They loved seeing how the venue transitioned from ceremony to reception.
