All you adventurous brides are going to fall for Nolo + Marta’s elopement in Spain, at La Laguna Rosa, or, The Rose Lagoon. They love traveling and exploring together, and a big, traditional wedding never even crossed their minds. Instead, they wanted a dreamy elopement in a brand new place that represented their spontaneous spirit. Once Lorena of Eventos Clandestine suggested this locale, they were sold. The best part? They asked her to keep almost every detail a big surprise…
Thanks to Buenas Photos for sharing the images below!
They chose a pink color palette and crystals as their muse, but asked Lorena + the team to keep a lot of the details secret so they could be surprised together. Marta says, We spent night before the wedding in Alicante with our friends. I was so nervous because everything was a surprise for us. I woke up with the sun. I couldn’t wait to see my fiancé and the wedding place that was waiting for us… It was a day full of emotions!
Not only did they have their ceremony on the salt flats, they also had a little lounge area and the sweet lil’ table above.
Lorena explains, When I met Nolo and Marta I knew that it will be something absolutely different and beautiful on their special day. They wanted to get married in an intimate atmosphere in harmony with nature. We started looking for a place near Alicante—the couple’s hometown and found this treasure–“La Laguna Rosa de Torrevieja” in a national park. It was exactly what we wanted. We had to wait until June, because it became pink only during the dry season. Only in summer it becomes so beautiful with salt crystals that form on the beach and water turns pink. So I had several months to think about concept and all the details.
They also played up the location with unexpected pops of greenery, flowers by Flores de Bohemia, and dreamy stationery by De Pluma y Letras.
As you can probably guess, M + N chose Alla of Buenas Photos as their photographer after searching for someone that would give their elopement a completely unique and romantic fine art feel. Looks like there couldn’t be a more perfect choice, huh?
How neat is it that these two found a team they could trust with a surprise like this?! Congratulations to Marta and Nolo!
