If you love holiday weddings, you’re in for a real treat with Maggie and Sebastian’s Christmas wedding in Austria. They didn’t just want to have a winter wedding, but a snowy wedding and can you think of a more magical spot than Schloss Leopoldskron—AKA the very spot scenes from The Sound of Music were filmed—to make it all happen? Thanks to A Very Beloved Wedding and Greg Finck for sharing!
Pretty Christmas bouquet alert! The arrangements by A Very Beloved Bloom featured marsala-toned blooms, white anemone, and deep purple berries.
The reception venue was in front of a frozen lake with snow-topped mountains in the background.
But the ceremony was just as magical, at St. Peter´s Abbey, one of Salzburg’s most beautiful churches…
What did we tell ya?! Maggie’s advice, after one year of planning… Our biggest hurdle was finding the perfect location, as we wanted to have something truly unique and we wanted snow 100% guaranteed. My personal tip: Do not settle. If you are not happy, then you will have this hanging over you. With every decision, we made sure that we were behind our decision, no one else. Therefore you need to work with the right professionals, in order to get what you want.
Is there any way not to be in the holiday spirit after catching sight of this cake?
S + M’s first dance was to Fate Don’t Know You by Desi Valentine as performed by the talented Austrian singer, Anna May.
Holiday tablescape inspo, anyone?
