Did you get a chance to peruse this morning’s elegant floral wedding? Clearly we have a thing for blush color palettes today (hi, spring!), especially when used in new and fresh ways—like in this editorial photog Irene Fucci and From Italy with Love sent our way. With the gorgeous Masseria Potenti in Apulia, Italy as their muse, they sought to inspire the wild-at-heart couple in search of a wedding venue rich with history and beauty.
The inspiration, from Anne-Laure of From Italy with Love, A few years ago, I visited Apulia, the “heel” of Italy, and instantly fell in love. This region is very unique for its olive groves and cacti growing everywhere, its authentic and wild atmosphere and the typical, ancient farmhouses reconverted in luxury hotels called masseria. The chosen venue, Masseria Potenti, features traditional white painted walls and pastel colors. To fit this frame, I imagined a soft boho atmosphere with elegant touches that includes traditional elements like the « pumo », the symbol of Apulia in the shape of a little pine cone, and delicate details like silk ribbons and a watercolor wedding invitation in pastel hues.
Love Grigiocielo Studio‘s calligraphy details throughout.
These blooms in the breeze = so dreamy.
Irene Fucci says, I loved everything about that day: from the color palette of neutrals mixed with a soft, blush pink to the intimate atmosphere. Not to mention the beautiful details inspired by the Spring Season. I’m talking about the gold handmade rings or that gorgeous cake with a tiny cactus on top. But my very fave part of the day was to work with a real couple. There’s something magical and unique about shooting a real love that always reminds me the reason why I love my job so much. Qualcosa di Dolce was behind this cute lil’ spring cactus cake.Film by Giorgio Guerrieri.
