Morning, Cakies! Isn’t it amazing what a difference something like a black backdrop makes? Or bright, bold blooms? And a sparkly black bridal gown, perhaps? Before we give too much away, let’s just say that we’re all about the concept behind this styled shoot Liza of Mango Studios and Shealyn Angus Weddings & Events shared: soft, yet passionate, delicate, yet bold. See how they channeled such opposing forces below:
For the tablescape, the team was also inspired by the contrast of rich, robust hues and soft lighting. This way, they were able to keep the ambience delicate and airy yet elegant and bold.
Yep, these florals by Blush and Bloom Flower Studio certainly did the trick!
Liza says, Soft. Passionate. Whimsical. This black and red wedding vision was inspired by the beautiful black sequin gown designed by Narces, a Canadian design phenom. The Mango Studios team and I are always fascinated by nontraditional wedding gowns and have wanted to bring that unexpected element to a creative shoot for a while. There’s something utterly chic and elegant about a bride who opts to rock a black wedding gown, a modern muse who is not afraid to add some colour to her wedding day.
The team also experimented with a lighter, more airy bridal look, adorning her in Rime Arodaky from Loversland, to contrast with the sultry surroundings.
Which look do you fancy? All the above for us, please!
Thanks to Liza + Shea and the talents below for inspiring our Thursdays…
