Cakies, there are a few major reasons to be inspired by New York couple Sarah + Josef’s Afgay desert wedding in Marrakesh. First of all, the location = incredible. The desert is right outside of Marrakesh–close enough that they could even host their rehearsal dinner at a luxe spot in the city the night before. Secondly, S + J, and all their friends + fam that made the journey, are just so stylish, which makes for a magical contrast against the striking landscape. And did we mention the afterparty under the stars? It’s all so so good, and beautifully captured by Petar Jurica below:
Beautiful bride! She planned their destination nuptials herself.
The day before the wedding, they hosted their rehearsal dinner at El Fenn in Marrakesh.
Sarah walked down the aisle adorned in Temperley London.
Time to set up camp in the desert…
Can we have like, *all* these dresses?
Le Kiosque à Fleurs Marrakech brought in greenery and florals to decorate for the ceremony.Such gorgeous hues to complement the desert tones.
How fun would it be to be a guest at this wedding?!
Afterward, they all dined in the desert and slept under the tents with stars shining above. So dreamy!

Now this is how you do a desert wedding, right? Congrats, S + J!
