Any Pride and Prejudice fans reading today? Our friends at The Big Fake Wedding took on Cincinnati last month, and their 2019 iteration was all about merging timelessness and modernity in a wedding design inspired by the Jane Austen classic. Think vintage-inspired details, a hint of nostalgia, and embracing traditions in fresh ways.

Starting with a most romantic, vintage inspired bridal gown from Luxe Redux Bridal.
Originally built in 1868, The Transept made the perfect historic backdrop for their Austen-inspired wedding. By the way, you all know that every edition of The Big Fake Wedding actually involves a real, emotional vow renewal for a local couple? The vintage-inspired color palette included tones of peach, greens, dusty purple, and stone.
For brides and grooms, the event serves as a source of inspiration, a resource in finding trusted wedding vendors and an emotional reminder to plan for what comes after the wedding: a marriage! For participating wedding vendors, the event exposes their business to new referral sources, while also exposing each vendor to a wealth of inspiration, resources and confidence to take their business to the next level.
