What do you get when a pro skateboarder and an event planner tie the knot? A super cool, and very chic, Palm Springs wedding, it turns out! San Diego natives Nicole of Nicole Manalo Events and Jimmy embedded details from their 15-year relationship (not to mention their little man, Mason) and love of all things Anthro, throughout a classic, sophisticated celebration that had guests chanting, “ain’t no party like a Jimmy and Nicole party” all night long. The color palette incorporated a pop of yellow, because growing up whenever Nicole would ask her mom her fave color, she would say “yellow, because it’s a happy color”, and well, who doesn’t want a happy color at their wedding?! Nicole’s childhood home was even yellow. So sweet!

Jimmy AND five of his groomsmen are professional skateboarders, so naturally it’s a pretty big part of their lives. And it gave their black and white wedding such a fun twist!
All the lanterns on the way down the aisle came from Anthropologie, where Nicole loves and used to work!
How creative is this ‘skate to your seat’ seating chart and skateboard keychains?! The calligraphy made for such fun personalized wedding favors.
Nicole says, Though my grandpa was celebrating with us in heaven I wanted to make sure he was part of the big day. My grandpa was a chef and the menu was created in his memory. During the salad course our menu had a quote: “Don’t forget to eat your greens”—Papa
