Danielle and Drake were set to be married in Vail, Colorado in June 2020 but of course the pandemic hit, so they decided to postpone. In such an unpredictable time, they switched their date to August and all the plans were perfectly set out. Uncertainty hit again, and their venue told them they would be cancelling all events for 2020. Ugh! They were devastated but looked at their glass half full.
They decided to have a micro wedding with their closest family in their hometown and since they were already traveling to Colorado on their “would be” wedding date, they wanted to mark the occasion with an “upgraded” picnic for two. The weather was perfect and made what would be their wedding day, an occasion to remember. See below for all the photos by For the West and Wild…
The diamond on Danielle’s ring belonged to Drake’s grandmother, and his ring had belonged to his grandfather! How sweet!
This bouquet is giving us allll the feels.
Cute bridal hat alert!
Danielle and Drake are still set to celebrate in Vail Colorado next year but until then, they have beautiful photographs that will last them a lifetime!
